The EDE Roadmap

This page presents planned upcomming release and changes in it. This is not a complete list, but rough representation of major changes. Full changes will be noted in release changelog.

edelib

• Dump unused code (e.g. File class)
• Move common WM (netwm) code scattered all over ede programs in edelib
• Integrate XSETTINGS code in Theme class
• Make a sample theme

edewm

• Rewrite window manager; dump eFLTK dependencies
• Integrate compositing support (or put this in separate application)

evoke

• Add session management support
