Reported by: nobody Owned by: nobody
Priority: 5 Milestone:
Component: Interface (example) Version: None
Keywords: Cc:

Description

my system: Slackware 9.1
kernel: 2.6.8.1
locale: koi8-r ru_RU.koi8r
X server: XFree86 4.3
resolution: 800x600
installed fonts: from M$ - verdana, arial, times new roman
an several other.

Versions:
efltk: 2.0.5
ede: 1.0.4
compiled options for:
efltk --prefix=/usr --disable-mysql --disable-unixODBC
ede --prefix=/usr

Ede regular crashes when I used in Main menu->Panel-
>Control Panel->Colors and Fonts->Menu enabling
"Menu Effects" and "Effects subwindows". Ede do not
crashes when I use only "Enable Effects". When I use
enabling effects for subwindows ede crashes. Crush does
not depend on type of effect for windows.

After crash I got in console:

EDE home dir exist, ok.
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
> Error: Can't find file "pc/en" for symbols include

> Abandoning symbols file "default"
Error from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server

Some interesting about this bug: Ede crashes when I
move mouse in main menu quickly. When I move a
mouse slow up or down, and submenus can open fully
everything is ok.
