Fails to compile with emake

I get this error only under Ubuntu after running ./emake . Under Gentoo, 
this package compiles perfectly. This is with efltk-2.0.5 with gcc-3.3, 3.4, 
and 4.0 on two different Ubuntu machines, a Dell GX240 and a Dell 
GX620.

I get the same errors when trying to compile elftk under
Arch Linux 0.7.1 (Noodle) using gcc 4.0.3.

I hope someone finds a solution soon.  I would like to run
ede on my Arch Linux box.

Please try with the latest efltk from CVS (there are 
instructions for using CVS on the top menubar of 
sourceforge).
